Stephen S. Meharg, Ph.D., ABN

mehargA Longview-Kelso native, Dr. Meharg completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Washington State University in 1985, followed by a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1990, and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in 1991.

After a final year of training in behavioral medicine and neuropsychology at the Portland VA Medical Center, Dr. Meharg entered private practice in the Longview area. In addition to a general practice in child and adult psychotherapy, he holds specialty practices in clinical and forensic neuropsychology, ADHD, child behavior disorders, parent training, and behavior therapy of anxiety disorders. He consults extensively with area medical providers. Dr. Meharg has also served as adjunct faculty at George Fox College and Lower Columbia College, and is a consulting psychologist in the department of Internal Medicine at St John Medical Center.  He serves as the trainer and supervisor of the Lay Counseling Clinic of Longview Community Church.  He is board certified with the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.

Dr. Meharg holds membership in the American Psychological Association, American Academy of Neurology, Washington State Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society, National Academy of Neuropsychology, Pacific Northwest Neuropsychological Society, American College of Professional Neuropsychology, and the North American Brain Injury Society.

Dr. Meharg is married and has three children.  His hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, computers, and photography.  He is also an accomplished musician, serving as principal viola of several local community and professional orchestras and string quartets.  He volunteers as a string coach in the Longview School District.

Heidi R. Tennyson, Psy.D.

tennysonHeidi R. Tennyson, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist.  She completed her undergraduate degree at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and later received her Master of Science in Psychology from Portland State University and her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.

Dr. Tennyson particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and their families and has extensive experience in both community mental health and residential programs using a cognitive-behavioral approach to treat mood disorders (anxiety and depression) and a wide range of behavioral difficulties.  In addition, she is experienced in conducing psychological evaluations with a particular focus on cognitive, academic, ADHD, and personality assessment. 

Dr. Tennyson is a member of the American Psychological Association.

Linda Lee, Psy.D.

LeeDr. Lee completed her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University New England, Keene, NH. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Wasatch Mental Health, in Provo, UT, and postdoctoral residency at The Counseling Associates, in Naples, FL. She has focused on child, adult, couples, and family issues in both assessment and intervention. Her work with youth and adults has included outpatient, inpatient, residential, and medical/hospital settings.

Dr. Lee helps clients regain personal power and balance in their lives by building hope and inner strength. She has an integrative, interpersonal, client-centered approach, emphasizing relationship, experience, and self-awareness. Interventions are tailored to meet the needs of each client.

Dr. Lee enjoys working with people of all ages, and offers services for most emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs. In addition, she has areas of specialized training and expertise, including:
